day at Hugletts Wood Farm Animal Sanctuary and working Vegan farm. 10.30am –
5pm. Come
and meet the calves, cows, bulls, pigs,
sheep, ducks, geese, chickens and Idaho the turkey, all living in peace and
tranquillity at Hugletts and will never see or fear the abattoir. Ebony, Hattie
and Burfi arrived recently having narrowly escaped certain death and are the
start of a second herd. Also : Woodland Walks, Talks on Cow
Protection and Managing the Ancient Woodland at Hugletts. Or just
find a quiet corner and relax! There will be shelter, but bring wellies
and umbrellas if wet. Plenty of tasty Vegan food and drink available.

Life Parrot Rescue. Hot vegan food served.

13th - Sun 15th June Animal Rights Gathering. Workshops; discussions and
talks; learn new skills and share info. Stalls and merchandise from all
the main grass roots campaign groups. 3 vegan meals a day plus café with
snacks and drinks from Veggies Catering Campaign. Evening bar. Cinema tent;
entertainment. A chance to socialise and network in a beautiful rural location
at an animal sanctuary in Kent. Cost: £10 for the weekend or £5 per day
+ a few pounds per day for the food. Any extra will be a donation to the
farm animal sanctuary. Sorry NO dogs due to the other animals. To book your

Midsummer Madness - Fund raiser for Northants Greyhound Rescue and Tailends in
Devon. 2pm
a dog-friendly walk around the picturesque canal side village of Stoke Bruerne.
Then to Alison’s lovely garden for afternoon of refreshment. Plant stall,
raffle, greyhound goodies and as many homemade scones as you can eat. Book your
place before the end of May. £10 per person, no charge for dogs.
